DMCA Policy
Interior Design Contractors respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable intellectual property laws. Our commitment ensures that original creative works, including interior design concepts and written content, are protected. We expect our users to respect these rights as well.
How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on the Interior Design Contractors website, please send a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated Copyright Agent. This notice must contain the following specific details to be valid:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works. This could include specific interior design articles or unique textual descriptions.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material. Please provide specific URLs.
- Information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and an email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification Process
If your content was removed or access disabled as a result of a DMCA takedown notice and you believe this was due to mistake or misidentification of the material, you may submit a counter-notification. This counter-notice must be in writing and contain the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location on our site where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Interior Design Contractors may be found. You must also state that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Interior Design Contractors maintains a firm policy against repeat infringers. We will terminate user accounts of individuals who are found to repeatedly infringe copyright. This action occurs following receipt of valid DMCA notices concerning their content. We keep records of all infringement allegations and counter-notifications.
